FATHER & SON VICTIMS, 500,000 LOOT BURIED ON MOUNT PLEASANT FARM?—murder squad on country dig

13th October 1976
Acting on information received from an underworld informer, police are digging up tons of concrete at Mount Pleasant Farm at Hornchurch in Essex. They have been told that the concrete covers the graves of haulage contractor George Brett and his ten-year-old son Terry, who vanished together nearly two years ago. They also hope to find some loot – perhaps as much as 500,000 pounds – from armed robberies in the London area in recent years.
